Two Vienna-style Hand-painted Porcelain Cabinet Plates, 19th century, one depicting Napoleon on horseback during a battle, unsigned, with a maroon and gilt border, underglaze blue beehive mark and overglaze "Germany" in brown, dia. 9 1/2; the other an exterior scene of a man playing a mandolin while a woman and girl play with a small dog, signed "Wagner," with a cream-colored and gilt border, titled "In angenehmer Gesellschaft" on the reverse, with underglaze blue beehive mark, dia. 9 3/4 in. Each with very minor enamel loss. No chips, cracks, or repairs.
