German Silver and Parcel-gilt Beaker, Augsburg, early 18th century, possibly Philipp Stenglin, maker, the cylindrical tapered body on circular flared foot with reeded borders, and engraved with scroll and shell motifs, with German inscription, ht. 3 1/8 in., approx. 2.8 troy oz. Maker's mark partially rubbed. Inscription very rubbed. Scattered loss to goldwash. Nicks to rim and foot. Scattered usage wear (abrasions and shallow dents).
