Assembled Pair of Paul Storr Covered Tureens and Associated Stands, London, 1808-1809, both tureen lids are topped by a unicorn head finial and have an engraved heraldic motif on either side, above a gadrooned register, date letter 1808, ht. 6 1/2; the tureen dishes each have gadrooned rims with interspersed shell motifs and a small heraldic shield to outer edge, date letter 1809, dia. 11; the silver-plated stands are made up of gadrooned supports with two scrolled, acanthus leaf-decorated handles on four paw feet with a plated inset also with a heraldic shield, dia. 13 1/2 in., 123 troy oz. weighable silver. Each lid has repaired split to rim, one missing a screw. Stand and dishes in otherwise good condition with minor usage wear.
