Provincial Walnut Inlaid Credenza with Marble Top, 19th century, marble supported on a frieze decorated with an inlaid floral medallion and arabesque scrolls, above a recessed base made up of one larger central door and two smaller doors on canted corners each with arched mirror and inlaid detail, opening to reveal a shelved interior; all on a shaped plinth, ht. 34 1/2, wd. 60, dp. 16 1/2 in. Marble with surface abrasions, but no cracks or losses. Base with some slight cracking and lifting to veneer particularly along framed portion of the mirror where there is one small area of restoration.
