Irish Silver and Parcel-gilt Covered Bowl, Dublin, date cipher "P" possibly for 1763, cover with turned finial and engraved heraldic motif, bowl also with the same motif on a flared base, ht. 3 1/2, dia. 4 in., approx. 5.2 troy oz. Wear to gilding (rubbing and pitting). Several very shallow dents to body. Finial off kilter.
