Two Cinnabar Lacquer Vases, China, one meiping shape, carved with eight panels each depicting an auspicious plant at an interior setting, the shoulders with four panels of scrolling flowers, with lappets on the short, waisted neck, four-character Yongzheng mark on base, ht. 11 1/2, the other double gourd shape, decorated with scrolling lotus flowers and the Eight Buddhist Emblems, with the characters Da Ji (Great Blessings), each carved in a roundel and painted in gilt, four-character Yongzheng mark on base, ht. 12 in. age cracks, minor loss of gilt
