Nantucket Basket, late 19th/early 20th century, round basket with carved hardwood heart-shaped handles and turned base, the base inscribed "Mary Cathcart from Mother," (losses to cane weavers), ht. 5 1/2, dia. 9 7/8 in. Three cane weavers have losses about 1-1 1/4 in. lg. There a re a couple lighter toned areas to the caning on the side.
