Paint-decorated Dome-top Box, possibly Pennsylvania, early 19th century, wire hinges and handle on rectangular box with iron latch, the top painted with a basket of flowers, the front and sides with tulips and other flowers in red, green, and white on a dark blue ground with white borders, (paint wear), ht. 9 3/8, wd. 13 3/4, dp. 8 5/8 in.
