Three Shaker Red-stained Oval Covered Storage Boxes, 19th century, each with pine top and bottom and bent maple sides with lapped fingers fastened with copper tacks, the middle sized box with fingers facing left, (minor imperfections), ht. 3 1/4, 4 3/4, 5 5/8, dia. 8 3/8, 12 3/8, 13 1/2 in. The smallest with two small cracks where pegged to bottom; middle sized box- some scratches/marring to top; Largest box- some scratches/marring to top, has a label applied to one end with scratched-out inscription "Fancy Ribbons for trimming".
