At age 11 the '99 Richebourg is clearly signaling that it's going to require 20 to 25 years to really be at its peak. At the same time, there is sufficient mid-palate sap to at least make it approachable sooner, perhaps in 7 to 10 years from now. One of the great vintages for this fabled wine.
