Warm oil on Masonite, Verbena oil on canvasboard; sizes to 16 x 20 in. (40.6 x 50.8 cm), framed. Condition: Minor surface grime. N.B. Exhibition pamphlets for John W. Hilton: Accent on Arizona, Grand Central Art Galleries, Inc., New York, April 19 to 30, 1960, accompany the lot. Warm Afternoon with small drip or similar surface grime to center measuring 3/8 inch (2.0 cm). No additional condition issues to report. Warm Afternoon measures 16 x 20 inches. Desert Verbena measures 12 x 16 inches.
