Marion P. Howard (American, 1883-1953) Autumn Colors Signed and dated "M. Howard '09" l.l., identified on labels from R.H. Love Galleries, Chicago, and Holby Gallery, Chicago, affixed to the backing. Oil on canvas, 18 x 22 in. (45.7 x 55.9 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, minor retouch, craquelure. Lined. Retouch l.c.; series of brushstrokes along the bottom (horizontal) about 10 inches; sky with broadly brushed thin wash and with many scattered small dots (from 1/16" - 1/2").
