Kenneth Stubbs (American, 1907-1967) Two Provincetown Views: Bulkheads and Alwalman Wharf Bulkheads signed and dated "Kenneth Stubbs/1960" l. r., Japanese ink and brush on wood paper; Alwalman signed, inscribed, and dated "Kenneth Stubbs...1948" l.l., watercolor on paper; sheet sizes to 11 7/8 x 15 7/8 in. (30.2 x 40.3 cm), both framed. Condition: Bulkheads not examined out of frame, Alwalman mounted to backing mat, mat burn, subtle toning. N.B. We wish to thank Keith Stubbs, son of the artist, for his kind assistance cataloguing the lot. Bulkheads sight size 9 1/2 x 13 5/8 in.; Fishing sight size 11 1/4 to 15 1/2 in.; both with labels from Mickelson's, Washington D.C. affixed to the paper backing.
