Sydney Lee (British, 1866-1949) The Harbour Signed and dated "SYDNEY LEE 34" l. r., titled, signed "...Sydney Lee," and identifie on a label affixed to the reverse. Oil on board, 25 1/4 x 30 in. (64.1 x 76.2 cm), framed. Condition: Surface grime, bowing, craquelure. Fluorescence to the u.l. quadrant measuring approx. 1 1/2 x 3/4 in. which appears to be surface grime instead of retouch; fluorescence to u.r. quadrant measuring approx. 1 1/2 x 1/2 in. which also appears to be surface grime instead of retouch; no additional condition issues to report.
