Victor Vasarely (French/Hungarian, 1906-1997) Two Compositions in Gold from the PERMUTATIONS Series, 1968, edition of 150, published by Denise René, editeur, Paris. Both signed "Vasarely-" in pencil l.r., numbered "13/150" in pencil l.l., publisher's dry stamp l.l., and identified on a label from the Kanegis Gallery, Boston, affixed to the backing. Color screenprints on paper, image size 23 5/8 x 23 5/8 in. (59.8 x 59.8 cm), framed. Condition: Gentle rippling to sheets, both with water staining to one margin, not examined out of frames. Gold with grey numbered P10 on the backing, with staining to upper right side margin extending about 8 inches long and 1/2 inch into the margin at it widest point. Gold with purple numbered P3 on the backing, with staining across the full length of lower margin and extending three inches up at each lower corner.
