Yozo Hamaguchi (Japanese, 1909-2000) Spiral Shell, 1979, edition of 99 (Hamaguchi, 152). Signed "hamaguchi" in pencil l.r., dedicated "pour lailier" in pencil l.l., Maurice Lailier collector's stamp to verso. Mezzotint on paper, plate size 1 1/2 x 2 3/8 in. (4.6 x 5.8 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Margins 1 3/4 inches or more with deckled edges, subtle soiling to upper margin, annotation to verso. Sheet measures 8 3/8 x 5 7/8 in.
