Reginald Marsh (American, 1898-1954) Coney Island Beach, 1934, from the Whitney Museum edition of 100, printed in 1971 (Sasowsky, 153). Signed and dated within the plate, Whitney Museum dry stamp l.r., numbered "43/100" in pencil l.l., identified on a label from Associated American Artists affixed to the backing. Etching on paper, plate size 9 3/4 x 9 3/4 in. (24.5 x 24.7 cm), framed. Condition: Gentle rippling, not examined out of frame. Out of the frame the sheet measures 13 x 15 7/8 inches, and has white paper hinges near the upper corners. The margins have gentle mat burn.
