Edmund Blampied (British, 1886-1966) A Jersey Milkmaid, 1920, trial proof before the edition of 100 (Appleby, 60; Dodgson, 52; Allhusen, 33). Signed "E. Blampied" in pencil l.r. Drypoint on paper, plate size 10 x 7 in. (25.4 x 17.8 cm), framed. Condition: Subtle toning, not examined out of frame. N.B. The impression presented here is before the signature was added to the plate, and prior to the darkening of her bonnet and shading on and near her waist.
