Elgin 18-Size "Veritas" 21-Jewel Watch, Elgin National Watch Company, No. 9,607,112 enamel double sunk dial marked Ferguson Dial Patented for Elgin Watch with outer Arabic numeral minutes and inner red Arabic numeral hours, crystal back revealing the nickel three-quarter plate lever set damascened movement marked Veritas Elgin Ill. U.S.A. , 21 Jewels and serial number as above, gold jewel settings and micrometer regulator all in a gold-filled case. Watch runs sluggishly; case worn on front bezel, minute hand not on watch but with the lot. Crystal removed from body but present.
