George Dawson Regency Mahogany Table Clock, Sudbury, United Kingdom, c. 1840, 8-in. convex painted dial inscribed Geo. Dawson, Sudbury with Roman numerals and blued steel hands, mahogany case with brass inlay, fretted sound vents and ball feet, eight-day time and strike spring-powered fusee movement with anchor escapement and pendulum with engraved bob, ht. 17 3/4 in. Fabric torn on one side sound vent, dial in age consistent undisturbed condition, movement runs and strikes but could use lubrication.
