Polychrome Floral-painted Pine Dovetail-constructed Dome-top Storage Box, painted on a red ground, three paneled top painted with floral patterns and a central animal register to the front, the body of the chest is painted on three sides with a variety of animals against a background of domed buildings, (detached lid, paint losses), ht. 16, wd. 33 1/2, dp. 18 in. One of two hinges broken, interior lockplate damaged, paint loss and flakign throughout.
