George Jones Majolica Cheese Dish, England, late 19th century, cover molded with flowering cherry blossoms spreading from double-branch handle on a light blue ground, above a band of molded basketweave, repeated as a border on the rim of the dish, impressed mark, ht. 10 1/4 in. Professional restoration to one side of cover. Tray possibly married. Dish diameter 11"; cover dia. 9".
