Seven Meerschaum Carved Pipes, one bowl with carved detail of a running horse, dated 1816, with hinged brass cover to bowl, ht. 3 1/2; one with carved detail of a turbaned man in a fitted case, ht. 2 1/2; one with a carved detail of a running horse, ht. 2 1/2; one with carved detail of a running goat, dated 1720, with a hinged brass cover to the bowl and a copper and mother-of-pearl stem, in a fitted case, ht. 3 1/2; one with claws grasping the bowl, in a fitted case, ht. 2 1/2; one carved with feathered details overall, with indentations for thumb- and finger-hold, in fitted case, ht. 2; and a large bowl with foliate engraving to stem, in fitted case, ht. 3 1/2 in. All with uage wear. Repaired crack and scattered loss to 1816 pipe (only includes bowl), loss to one claw of claw and bowl pipe, engraved pipe only includes bowl.
