Inlaid Three-drawer Commode, possibly Italy, 19th or 20th century, Baroque-style, shaped serpentine form with top and sides each with book-matched veneer inlaid with foliate arabesques atop three veneered drawers each with inlaid decoration, heavy brass pulls, on four shaped bracket feet, ht. 34 1/2, wd. 43, dp. 21 1/2 in. Surface abrasions to top and drawer fronts conisistent with usage, scattered cracks to veneer, large vertical crack through center of back panel, two drawers with horizontal cracks to interior bottom panels.
