Minton Majolica Jardiniere and Underplate, England, c. 1875, the cylindrical form with flared rim and spreading foot, relief-decorated with swags of oak branches affixed with ribbands and overlaid by a frieze of putti, the underplate with oak branch border, no factory marks, the jardiniere impressed "923," jardiniere ht. 14 1/4, underplate dia. 20 1/2 in. Lower body and underside of base restored. Underplate with overall restorations.
