Pair of Georgian-style Carved Armchairs, England, 19th century, each with flared armrests terminating in low relief foliate carving against textured ground with upholstered seat and back all on four heavy cabriole legs with foliate carving on cross-hatched ground on knee terminating in claw-and-ball feet, ht. 37, wd. 29, dp. 22 1/2 in. Arm joints on each chair slightly loose, some cracks to arm-rests and knees, slight surface abrasions to frame consistent with usage.
