Pair of Italian Painted and Gesso Figures, carved as young men in ecclesiastical robes with gilt details on a wood base, ht. 24 1/2, together with two painted wood stands, ht. 27 1/4 in. With chips, cracks, losses and repairs to both. Both orginally were modeled as angels with wings, wings have been lost and damaged area has been repaired and repainted. One with both hands unattached (one included) and scattered shallow losses to surface. Other with small loss to hair, repaired breaks to both hands, cracking and loss to base and scattered shallow losses. Stands with small areas of loss.
