Soviet Porcelain Propaganda Plate, St. Petersburg, Russia, 20th century, with painted "1921" to center surrounded by floral motifs with gilt rim, back with overglaze green mark Cyrillic monogram with crown mark of Nicolas II and date 1902, also with later black overglaze State Porcelain Factory mark of hammer, sickle and cog with date of 1921 and Cyrillic inscription "After a drawing by R. Wilde," dia. 9 1/2 in. Very minor scattered loss to enamel and surface abrasions. No chips, cracks, or repairs.
