Portrait Miniature of a Young Woman, England or France, early 19th century, on ivory, oval format, the flaxen-haired sitter wearing a white muslin dress, unsigned, bordered by braided yellow silk and in fitted red leather case, ivory ht. 2 5/8 in. With two abrasions just above ear on right. Not examined out of frame. Fraying to braid. Case no longer closes and with black staining to most of one exterior side.
