Wedgwood & Bentley Black Basalt Vase and Cover, England, late 18th century, the fluted cover with ball finial, engine-turned shoulder and central band, maiden handles, impressed circular mark, ht. 5 3/4 in. Provenance: Kanter Collection. Cover: Finial restored at join. Vase: Slight chip along the edge of a handle. Hairline to rim and repair surrounding neck. Foot of plinth with chip.
