Three Staffordshire Pottery Toby Jugs, England, first half 19th century, each polychrome enamel decorated in overglaze enamels, two seated and wearing long coats, one with frothing pitcher, ht. 9 1/4, another with empty pitcher, ht. 9 1/2; and a night watchman, ht. 9 in. Toby with frothing pitcher: Hat brim retouched; glaze loss to one finger. Toby with empty pitcher: restored hat brim; nick along footrim; star hairline under the base. Nightwatchman: flake to the black of his hat.
