Attributed to Joseph Cunningham Harker (British, 1855-1927) Monk at a Wayside Cross, Probably a Stage Set Illustration. Unsigned, inscribed "By Harker Snr. of the Harker Bros., Scenepainters." in pencil on the reverse, also inscribed "61.M.3. HARKER, Snr./Probably design for a stage set, possibly by HARKER Snr, of the two brothers, scenepainters." in pencil on the backing mat. Watercolor and graphite on paper, sheet size 8 1/8 x 10 3/8 in., framed.
