Miniature Carved and Painted Canvasback and Wood Duck Figures, Harold N. Gibbs (1886-1970), Barrington, Rhode Island, mid-20th century, the figures mounted on a piece of driftwood, the canvasback signed and dated "H. Gibbs 1957" on the bottom, the wood duck identified and signed with the maker's conjoined "HNG" initials on the bottom, (chip to wood duck's tail), ht. 2 3/8, 2 1/2 in., respectively. Provenance: H. Gibbs; found at a Gustav White on-site auction in Peterborough, New Hampshire.
