Carved Cherry Candlestand, Connecticut River Valley, c. 1800, the oval top centering a carved pinwheel with incised scalloped border, the post with a chip-carved urn, old finish, (imperfections), ht. 27, wd. 14 1/2, dp. 20 in. top with an old patch, 1/2 x 2 in.; perpendicular support repairs under bottom now removed, extra screws added to cleat.
