Lidded lap desk contained in a burled walnut box with tunbridge ware inlaid with mother of pearl accent at center of front as well as center of hinged top that opens to reveal blue fabric covered accordion compartment within lid and fold out lap desk with blue velvet writing surface with additional storage below, pen well and other storage niches. Height 6.1", width 11.75", depth 8.75".
