Queen Anne Walnut Compass-seat Side Chair, Massachusetts, c. 1740-60, the spooned cresting above a vasiform splat and raking chamfered stiles, the upholstered slip seat on frontal cabriole legs joined to the rear legs by block-, vase-, and ring-turned stretchers, refinished, (imperfections), ht. 40 1/2, seat ht. 17 1/2 in. one of front freet was broken and repaied, the other pad foot missing a chunk from edge, small chip inside the seat frame.
