White-Painted "Summer House" Building, probably Massachusetts, early 20th century, the one-room structure with central front door flanked by two pairs of hinged ten-light windows above panels all divided by Doric pilasters, the sides with three pairs of similar windows and decoration, the interior with hardwood floor, the interior walls and vaulted beadboard ceiling with natural finish, the building footprint measures approximately 20 x 12 1/4 ft. , with overhanging eaves adding nearly 4 ft. to the overall dimensions. Originally located behind a house next door to the Westminster Historical Society building at 110 Main Street, the summer house was donated to the Historical Society by that house's owner. For a time, the society used the structure for meetings. Note: This lot is being sold in Skinner's Marlborough saleroom on August 11, 2012, but is not available for preview at Skinner.
