Eadweard Muybridge (British, 1830-1904) Two Images from ANIMAL LOCOMOTION: Plate 307 (Discus Throw) and Plate 536 (Hands Writing) , 1887. Both identified within the image. Collotypes on paper, sheet sizes 19 x 24 in. (48.2 x 60.9 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Creases, nicks, and soiling to margins. Most of the soiling is to the margins. Hand has a loss l.l. and staining to the top 3 inches of the sheet. The sheets are heavy paper, but are brittle.
