Max Francis Klepper (American, 1861-1907) Day at the Races Signed "Max Klepper" l. l. Mixed media (gouache, watercolor, and graphite) on illustration board, 20 x 33 in. (50.8 x 83.8 cm), framed. Condition: Toning. Toning more pronounced along the outer edges of the composition. Short vertical line l.r. corner beneath the white horse appears to be gouache, rather than an abrasion of any kind.
