Simkhovitch/46" l.l., inscribed and titled in ink on the stretcher and on a label affixed to the stretcher, and titled and inscribed on an exhibition label from The Federation of Modern Painters and Sculptors, New York, affixed to the frame. Oil on canvas, 29 x 22 in. (73.3 x 56.0 cm), framed. Condition: Surface grime. Pigment fluorescence to black paint on the depicted walls 'framing' the composition, may benefit from a gentle cleaning, no additional condition issues to report.
