Jeff Koons (American, b. 1955) Balloon Dog (Blue) , 2002, edition of 2,300, published by the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. Identified and numbered "822" on a label on the reverse. Metallic porcelain multiple, diameter 10 1/4 in. (26.0 cm), presented in the original box with the artist's name printed in metallic blue, foam interior, and plastic stand. Condition: Dust to interstices, several extremely subtle surface rubs, wear and tear to box. The dust is minor. There are several vertical surface rubs (approx. 1 inch long) to the background near the figure's legs. The surface is otherwise in good condition without any losses or peeling to the finish. The edges of the top of the box are torn and worn at the folded lip.
