Signed and inscribed "© George Elbert Burr Del. et Imp." in pencil l.l., inscribed "Trial Proof/40" in pencil l.r., titled in pencil l.c., monogrammed within the plate. Etching with drypoint on tissue, plate size 8 x 6 in. (20.3 x 15.2 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Unobtrusive toning, several scattered fox marks, crease to upper margin, staining near upper corners.
