Guillaume Cornelis van Beverloo, known as Corneille (Dutch, 1922-2010) Two Works: Heure matinale , 1961, edition of 120 (Donkersloot-Van de Berghe, 100), and Après midi de l'été , 1961, edition of 120 (D-VdB, 101). Both signed and dated "Corneille '61" in pencil l.r., numbered in pencil l.l., and with "L'OEUVRE GRAVEE" dry stamp l.l. Color lithograph on paper, image sizes approximately 18 1/4 x 22 in. (46.3 x 55.5 cm), framed. Condition: Deckled edges, gentle toning, not examined out of frames. The sheets measure 19 7/8 x 25 7/8 inches, and are fully visible in the frames (they are unmatted). The toning is even but clearly visible. There is staining to the very edges of both sheets. The works have not been removed from their frames, but there are no other visible issues to report.
