Chinese, 20th century, possibly earlier. Carved light grey to green jadeite temple jar or lidded urn with oblong finial on lid decorated with stylized waves and flanked by serpentine accents. Top of container with ram's head handles with drop rings, exterior with archaic mythical beast depiction on each side. Vessel raised on a oval carved wood base. Unmarked. Height of jar (without base) 7".
