Ballooning, Two Pamphlets (c. 1850 and 1870) Sanson's Solution du Probleme de la Navigation Arienne , sixteen pages, the last blank but for the woodcut of Sanson's flying machine; and Lettre-Journal de Paris , Paris, 19 November 1870, with an account of the November fifteenth military balloon flight; and on the conjugate is a manuscript letter posted "Par Ballon Monte" from Paris to London, November, 1870, postage removed, with loss to text, cancellation stamp present, mounted.
