First edition, second issue, no dust jacket, gray publisher's cloth with blue lettering, shaken, with Mitchell's picture from a newspaper pasted on ffep, back end leaf torn at the gutter, corners rubbed, small split at foot of front hinge, with an ownership inscription in ballpoint pen inside front board and the names of the principal actors from the film version jotted on the half title, 6 x 8 3/4 in.
