Small format, in purple publisher's cloth, faded, torn short tear at the top of the front hinge, spine sunned, internally spotting, with a stunning illustration on the verso of the title of a garment presumably designed by Swan that functions as a straight jacket with shackles; in this advertisement, Swan solicits agents to sell this restraint, with the boast, "Sells rapidly," and "Liberal inducements offered."
