Silver-Plated Stand for a Maté Container and Pewter Chalice, maté gourd rimmed with silver-plated and impressed collar, the stand with three lion paw feet and impressed decoration, both indistinctly marked, ht. 6 1/4; the chalice of typical form, marked to rim "MANDV ANNO 1616 HMMVHD" with turned bead on stem decorated with etched leaves, flared base with etched decoration and marks "B B" and "JD JD" to either side, space between marks reads "INNI / MANM", ht. 5 1/2 in. Usgae wear to mate container and chalice with scattered marks and surface abrasions.
