Celadon Vessel with Handles, China, 20th century, pear-shape with the round body flattened and ribbed into four sections to form a lozenge-shape from mouth to base, reminiscent of a rectangular fanghu wine vessel made for offerings, two openwork handles to the neck, the foot with two small oblong openings, the whole surface glazed in celadon except the foot ring, four-character Qianlong mark inscribed on recessed base, ht. 6 7/8 in.
