Federal Mahogany and Bird's-eye Maple Inlaid Card Table, possibly Rhode Island, c. 1800, the folding top with ovolo corners and inlaid edge of contrasting chevron banding, on the conformingly inlaid skirt centering an oval joining the icicle- and string-inlaid tapering legs topped with oval burl dies and ending in banded cuffs, (restoration), ht. 29, wd. 35, dp. 17 in. Note: With an old handwritten label, "125 years old when purchased in Boston by CMG for NLB December 11th, 1902."
